The game uses a virtual controller and has system where it's something like tap to attack, long press to charge attack, swipe up to use one ability/spell, and swipe down for another. There are also waypoints you can unlock if you want to start at certain areas. When you die, you start over, but keep the gold you find which can be used for permanent upgrades. You'll find forges that upgrade/change your abilities for that run. The dungeons are mostly randomly generated. There's up to six classes you can unlock by playing. Premium purchase, no ads, no IAP, no timers/stamina limiting game play time. You find items and can also craft items, although it's kind of a gamble. I did like the gesture/drawing to cast spells and thought it was fun for a bit. I personally prefer premium purchase games without IAPs. If you like F2P games with microtransactions, you may like this game. I got this through a Humble Bundle that included $10 worth of IAP and it didn't last long. You can definitely play awhile without spending anything, but I ran into a point where it was either grind a lot or buy stuff. Free with ads and IAP, no timers/stamina that limit game play time. Here's something I mostly wrote earlier about some Action RPGs / ARPGs.Įternium: Mage and Minions. The best things in the game are obtained by playing, not paying. Gems, the game’s main currency, can be collected from enemies and quests.
